Users Will Share Verification Experiences, Discuss Future Verification Directions and Learn Valuable New Tips for Using Axis' Verification Products
SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 5, 2002--
The inaugural meeting of Axis Systems Inc.'s user group will offer
engineers who use Axis' high-performance system-on-a-chip verification
solutions the chance to share their experiences, learn from each other
and maybe even earn a cash prize.
The first meeting of the Axis Customer Technology (ACT) group will
be 9 a.m.-4 p.m. April 22 at the Westin Hotel in Santa Clara.
"Our users have been clamoring for a forum where they could share
tips and techniques, and ACT will be a great way for them to learn
about each others' experiences," said Ashutosh Varma, director of
technology applications at Axis Systems. "We're excited to be
launching ACT and giving our users an opportunity to interact with
each other and our developers. The direct feedback we'll get from our
users on how they use our tools will help Axis to better serve their
needs."
Interested users will compete for awards by presenting papers on
topics ranging from test-bench methodology used in simulation,
acceleration and/or emulation to effective verification strategy for
multi-million gate designs. The first-place winner will receive
$1,000, and the second place winner will receive $500. Abstracts are
due March 8, and final papers will be due April 1.
The deadline to sign up to attend ACT is April 19. For more
